For PartnersThe TerraHunt Platform for Schools, on Favorable Terms
Schools, youth centers, and other educational institutions can rent the TerraHunt® platform from us on favorable terms. We train your teachers, and they build the games themselves: an outdoor treasure hunt on a school trip, a virtual quiz on the subject being taught, an escape game for the youth club.
You bring the content, the platform does the rest. Mobile apps for iOS and Android for games outdoors, a web app for virtual games and quizzes, and an admin interface where a teacher writes the questions.
- Rent the platform on favorable terms and build as many games as you like
- We train your teachers; the admin interface takes an afternoon to learn
- Outdoor treasure hunts, virtual quizzes, and escape games in one account
What We Offer Schools
The platform, the training, and favorable terms. We rent the TerraHunt® platform to schools and educational institutions at conditions made for education, train your teachers, and leave the games to you. That keeps the cost where a school can carry it.
A custom game built by our team is possible as well, the way we build games for towns and hotels, and it makes sense where a grant or a project budget covers it. For most schools the rented platform with their own games is the practical way.
What Teachers Build With It
- A quiz on the subject being taught, played in the classroom on phones or in the web app, with the live score that makes students compete.
- A treasure hunt on a school trip: questions placed on GPS coordinates around a town or a castle, teams of 4 to 5 with one phone each, 1.5 to 2 hours of play.
- An adventure game at a camp or in nature around a leisure center, with photo tasks and physical stations.
- A cipher or escape game for a youth group, built in virtual mode without leaving the building.
How It Works
- You get your own account on the platform and a training for your teachers. Tutorials in English and Czech are there for reference.
- Teachers write the questions in the admin interface: text, pictures, or video, set up in one of the game types. For an outdoor game each question gets a place on the map.
- Students play on their phones in the TerraHunt® app or in the web app, and the teacher sees every team’s score live.
Pupils from about age 10 play a classic treasure hunt on their own; younger classes get a fairy-tale version with the teacher reading the questions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do we have to build the games ourselves?
That is the model we recommend for schools. You rent the platform, we train your teachers, and you build as many games as you like. A game built by our team is possible where a grant or a project budget covers it.
How hard is the admin interface?
A teacher learns it in an afternoon. Questions take text, pictures, or video; for an outdoor game you place each one on the map. Tutorials in English and Czech cover the rest.
What do students need?
A phone with the free TerraHunt app, one per team outdoors, or a browser for a virtual quiz. There is no limit on the number of players.
From what age does it work?
Pupils from about age 10 manage a treasure hunt on their own. Younger classes, from about age 8, play a fairy-tale version with the teacher reading the questions.
Can we use the ready-made games?
Yes. Our outdoor games in Czech and Slovak towns and our virtual escape games are available for school groups as well; ask us about the terms.
