When Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012, it was expected that the entertainment giant would want to fully capitalize on its latest purchase. To this end, they not only produced a rather lackluster new Star Wars trilogy but also began to dabble in animated and later live-action series. There are now a plethora of these series, and not all of them can be deemed successful. However, the very first one, "The Mandalorian," was a hit, at least for the first two seasons.

We don't get many fantasy films, especially good ones. They are financially demanding and rarely succeed in attracting a sufficient number of fans. In this respect, series creation is a bit further ahead. That's why we should be glad for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor of Thieves. Although the trailers made this film seem variously, it turns out to be a very pleasant affair, which has the potential to appeal even to individuals not smitten by the fantasy genre.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series is another addition to the Star Wars universe and tells the story of a character well-known to all fans of the space saga. The plot takes place approximately ten years after the events of the third installment of the Star Wars series and focuses quite predictably on Obi-Wan Kenobi, one of the last surviving Jedi, who lives as an exile on the planet Tatooine and has taken it upon himself to watch over the young Luke Skywalker.

Book of Boba Fett

While Disney is somewhat uncertain about the world of Star Wars in their films and is therefore somewhat conservative, it's the complete opposite with the series. Not every series set in the Star Wars universe has been successful. Among the less celebrated ones is the one being reviewed today, The Book of Boba Fett.

We don't have many military sci-fi films, let alone series, so any newcomer in this genre is warmly welcomed by fans. This was also the case with the Halo project. As many other works created based on famous games have shown us, a well-known brand doesn't necessarily mean automatic success.
